Kitchen and Bathroom remodel with layout reconfiguration
In this project, we reconfigured the layout of the first floor of this home, and remodeled both the kitchen and bathroom. We removed the wall between the dining room and the kitchen and installed a peninsula to maximize usable space. We reconfigured existing space that was a first floor bedroom, mudroom, half bath, and hallway into a beautiful full bath and family room. We installed new hardwood floors where necessary, milled trim to match the existing original trimwork, and did a complete bathroom transformation, including plumbing and window relocation. This was a complicated and intricate project, and we rose to the challenge - the finished work is truly spectacular!

In order to keep this radiator where it is, a custom "cabinet" frame needed to be constructed. We used a cabinet that matched the others being installed, but changed the way it functioned. Instead of a typical base cabinet, it is now open, with a screen front, to enable heat flow to the kitchen. This is the true definition of custom cabinetry!
This is now a gorgeous full bathroom with a large shower. The owner chose tile to be consistent with the age and period of the house. Notice that the tile on the floor of the shower is the same as on the floor of the room. Our expertise in tile work is showcased here, because you can see the grout lines align perfectly between the shower base and the floor, even though they are on different levels.
